During his visit, Errboe met Jung-ho KIM, Chair of the National Assembly’s Climate, Energy, Environment and Labor Committee, and senior officials from the Ministry of Climate, Energy and Environment to exchange views on Korea’s energy transition policies and the future development of the offshore wind industry. He also met with Philippe Van Hoof, Chairperson of the European Chamber of Commerce in Korea (ECCK), to exchange views on Korea’s energy transition policies and the role of European companies.
Ørsted is currently developing offshore wind projects totaling 1.47 GW in Incheon, representing approximately 14% of the Korean government’s target of 10.5 GW of offshore wind capacity by 2030.

Philippe Van Hoof, Chairperson of the ECCK, said:
