Join us in this role where you’ll support the Project Controls Director in leading the implementation of a world-class integrated project controls and risk management framework, enabling the successful North East Programme (NEP) execution.
Welcome to Project Services
You’ll be part of Project Governance & Controls function where you, together with your colleagues, will enable the deployment and integration of the project controls disciplines across the NEP EPC project. You’ll report directly to the NEP Project Controls Director (PCD) whom you will lead a team of dedicated specialists supporting the EPC project organization with project controls industry best practices. You’ll play a key role in enabling critical project controls processes, providing integrated performance insights to the EPC project senior leadership.

You’ll play an important role in:
- assisting the PCD with establishing and maintaining an integrated controls framework to meet the specific project requirements, incl. scope, schedule, risk, change, cost, information management, and project coordination disciplines.
- managing day-to-day activities of project controls functions, including project scheduling, cost management, risk management, and reporting, ensuring these processes are executed in compliance with projects requirements and company standards
- coordinating with project teams to facilitate scenario analysis, risk management, and decision-making support, helping to forecast and monitor project health
- enabling smooth resource demand/supply and efficient knowledge sharing between project controls teams and other functions
- ensuring the training and awareness of project control and risk management processes are provided to the project organization
- supporting the Project Controls Director with leading a multi-located Project Controls team.
To succeed in the role, you:
- 7-10 years in project controls or risk management roles, with at least 3-5 years in a senior position or deputy role within an EPC environment, particularly in offshore or renewable energy projects
- strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills.
- expertise in project controls tools (e.g., Primavera, MS Project) and risk management frameworks. Ability to analyze and forecast project performance across multiple disciplines
- proven track record in managing cross-functional teams, influencing stakeholders, and driving improvements in project controls and risk management practices
