Welcome to IT/OT Infrastructure Engineering
You’ll be part of Production IT IPL where you, together with your colleagues, will support, maintain, and govern the VMware Tanzu Kubernetes platforms across IT/OT globally. As a team, we’re involved in building a sustainable green energy company with diverse culture around the globe while ensuring great cohesion and collaboration to provide a stable and secure IT infrastructure platform.

You’ll play an important role in:

  • designing, deploying, and managing VMware Tanzu infrastructure to support containerised applications across multiple environments
  • collaborating with architects, developers, and operations teams to integrate VMware Tanzu solutions into existing infrastructure and application environments
  • developing and implementing best practices for VMware Tanzu configuration, security, monitoring, and performance optimisation
  • automating deployment and management tasks, using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Kubernetes Operators
  • providing technical expertise and support to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to VMware Tanzu infrastructure.

To succeed in the role, you:

  • are proficient in VMware vSphere, Vmware Tanzu Kubernetes Grid (TKG), and Tanzu Multi-cloud (TKGm), incl. cluster provisioning, networking, storage, and security configurations
  • have good understanding of Kubernetes platform, incl. its architecture, operations, and ecosystem
  • have knowledge of GitOps principles and proficiency in using GIT for version control and understand the importance of code versioning and its role in infrastructure management
  • understand continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and experience in implementing and managing deployment workflows
  • have experience with infrastructure automation tools and practices to streamline deployment and management processes
  • are able to articulate and communicate effectively with various level of stakeholders.
