Strategy and business development

Project Finance Manager

Imagine a future where you help structure and deliver financing solutions that support Ørsted’s offshore wind portfolio in the United States.

Join us in this role where you’ll support project financings, tax credit transactions, and other strategic transactions across the Northeast Program. You’ll combine financial modeling with commercial insight to evaluate opportunities, coordinate transaction workstreams, and help turn complex analysis into clear recommendations.

Welcome to The North East Program

You’ll be part of Strategic Transactions & Negotiation where you, together with your colleagues, will support project financings, joint ventures, asset divestments, and investment approvals in North America, with a focus on tax credit financing for the offshore portfolio. As a team, we collaborate across functions, share our expertise, and succeed as one to deliver high-quality outcomes.

You’ll play an important role in:

  • supporting tax credit financing transactions, including investor outreach, term sheet analysis, due diligence, documentation, closing, and funding activities
  • performing financial modeling and scenario analysis to identify value drivers, assess transaction issues, and recommend practical solutions
  • coordinating tax structuring, due diligence, work plans, timelines, and inputs from project teams, internal functions, financing parties, and external advisors
  • preparing recommendations, execution plans, and approval materials for Executive Committee or Investment Committee processes
  • supporting the preparation and review of transaction documents and participating in negotiations with counterparties
  • guiding analysts assigned to transaction workstreams by coordinating tasks and reviewing analytical work.

To succeed in the role, you:

  • have experience supporting the analysis and execution of project finance, tax equity, tax credit, or M&A transactions, ideally within renewable energy or infrastructure
  • bring strong financial modeling and analytical skills, including the ability to assess investment and production tax credit structures
  • hold a bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • use Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint confidently to develop clear analysis, recommendations, and decision materials
  • communicate clearly, pay close attention to detail, and deliver high-quality work while managing several priorities and contributors
  • are fluent in English and motivated to learn, collaborate across cultures and functions, and apply new knowledge to improve business results.

Maybe you’ve read the above and can see you have some transferable skills, even though they don’t quite match all the points. If you think you can bring something to the team, we still encourage you to apply.
