Senior Business Process Consultant
Imagine a future where you support Ørsted Business Services organisation to deliver fit-for-purpose processes to our growing organisation
Join us in this role where you’ll be responsible for facilitating the re-design of our global Shared Service Center processes. Further, you’ll be responsible for managing implementation projects of new or re-designed processes for digital solutions. You’ll be working with an international organisation, ensuring that our business priorities are met by identifying opportunities to reduce complexity, streamline, and digitize processes in Finance.

You’ll be part of Execution Support where you, together with your colleagues, will bring value by rethinking the existing processes and owning and delivering best in class business process management. You’ll work to accelerate transformation and put value creation at the centre of what we do. Our main shared services delivered are procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, record-to-report, and hire-to-retire. Further the team supports the entire Finance organisation with process design and project management. You’ll be part of a team that sets new standards for the renewable energy sector. As a team, we use each other’s diverse talents and collaborate across locations and time zones. We embrace sharing knowledge and proactively seeking development opportunities from each other and our peers.
You’ll play an important role in:
- performing data-driven process discovery identifying services and processes that can benefit from simplification, standardisation, and automation
- conducting interviews with Finance customers to understand their needs and make sure the Finance services are fit-for-purpose
- driving and planning process improvement workshops and projects
- managing or supporting projects aimed at process transition
- championing best-practice business process management and developing the organisations capabilities within service definition, process governance, KPIs, continuous improvement, and application of tools.
To succeed in the role, you:
- have a bachelor’s or master’s degree within business administration or similar
- are result-oriented, independent, and ambitious, and have a structured and data-driven approach to your work
- have relevant experience working with service and process improvements, navigating between strategic and operational stakeholders, or designing and executing finance transformations
- preferably have experience as a practitioner in process design tools, e.g. Kata, Lean, Six-Sigma (which may include Certified Six Sigma Yellow, Green or Black belt)
- preferably have project management experience
- demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and ability to think analytically.
