Risk Governance Lead

Join us in this role where you’ll be helping to build and implement an Enterprise Risk Management Framework to strengthen our resilience towards risks in an increasingly complex and ever-changing world.

Welcome to Group Risk Management
You’ll be part of Enterprise Risk Management where you, together with your colleagues, will design and implement an approach to classifying, aggregating, assigning ownership, and reporting on all material risks across the Group by establishing an Enterprise-wide Risk Management Framework. You’ll take a lead role in strengthening the risk governance in the organisation, setting standards, and driving initiatives to implement consistent governance. You’ll have the opportunity to collaborate with many other colleagues across all risk areas and with project and portfolio level risk responsibles. As a team, we work in a highly collaborative way, supporting each other to develop and learn through a wide variety of tasks. We develop as a team, making use of each team member’s skillsets and as individuals, by ensuring that all team members have challenging tasks.

You’ll play an important role in:

  • maintaining the overarching Enterprise Risk Governance Policy and driving its implementation, incl. the Enterprise Risk Taxonomy and Enterprise Risk Ownership Matrix
  • designing and embedding an Enterprise Risk Document Hierarchy, setting standards for governance across the organisation, incl. review and approval requirements
  • supporting the review of risk delegation and risk committee set-up as well as risk reporting to senior management and Board
  • driving focused initiatives to strengthen risk management across the organisation
  • proactively supporting the business and other risk teams in understanding and applying the Enterprise Risk Management governance.

To succeed in the role, you:

  • hold an academic degree in business law, business administration, or similar
  • have good experience in designing and implementing risk related governance, preferably from the energy sector, financial sector, or another large corporate entity
  • demonstrate excellent written communication and presentation skills as well as the ability to tailor approach and present complex information to broad audiences
  • have good stakeholder management skills and experience in proactively collaborating with specialists in different areas of the business to drive initiatives forward
  • have proven experience in leading projects across multi-functional areas.
