You’ll be part of Platform, Integration & Data IPL where you, together with your colleagues, will cooperate closely with other agile teams adding value to the business across an IT organisation with more than 1000 employees worldwide. You’ll be a key member of our team evolving, developing, and maintaining the common infrastructure, libraries, and tooling of the Ørsted Data Ecosystem. As a team, we value curiosity and fun working together, and so we combine office days with days working from home.
You’ll play an important role in:
- improving, monitoring, maintaining, and extending the individual elements of the Data Ecosystem infrastructure in the cloud e.g., cloud storage, queues, and databases
- ensuring that the Data Ecosystem is secure, stable, cost effective and scalable
- participating in proof of concepts and evaluating new tools and technologies, collaborating with architects to set guidelines and standards for the Data Ecosystem
- investigating automated alerts, as well as incidents reported by data engineers and data scientists
- developing and continuously improving shared code libraries and other tools to support data engineers and data scientists.
To succeed in the role, you:
- have previously worked with scripting using Python for data solutions, e.g., NumPy, or Pandas (primary skill)
- have experience in deploying, maintaining, monitoring, and securing cloud resources using Azure
- may have some experience (nice to have) with Kubernetes, Kafka, Databricks, NiFi, Docker, and Azure CLI
- know how to communicate efficiently with various type of stakeholders while using English on daily basis.
