Financial Business Intelligence Specialist
Imagine a future where you help a green energy major understand their business through data by being a central part of the interface between Finance and IT.
Join us in this role where you’ll have the opportunity to develop and support our business intelligence and reporting activities across Finance. You'll support our Business Finance area. We are currently implementing SAP Analytics Cloud and Datasphere and are looking for a person to join us in our new forecasting and reporting journey. Perhaps you're currently working as a controller but are interested in a role more focused on the development of reports and models. No matter your background, you'll get the opportunity to use and develop your analytical mindset and structure all available data in a meaningful way.
Welcome to Financial Performance and Analysis
You’ll be part of Financial Business Intelligence where you, together with your colleagues, will improve the process and overall efficiency of Finance by optimising the use of reporting, data, and systems. Your colleagues have a wide range of backgrounds coming from IT, Finance, or operational roles.
As a team, we believe that we perform better together. We therefor focus on having good working relationships within our team, as well as with our IT developer, where we work in an ART setup.
You’ll play an important role in:
- building and improving financial models for forecasting and reporting
- being the link between Finance and central IT, where you understand both IT complexity and the Finance business processes
- optimising and automating financial processes using data and systems
- creating Power BI dashboards to increase financial transparency.
To succeed in the role, you:
- hold a master’s degree or equivalent in IT or Finance, with a keen interest in both disciplines
- are service-minded and a skilled communicator who can operate at the interface between finance and IT professionals, and are eager to learn
- have a curious and analytical mindset with a problem-solving attitude
- can build strong relationships with your shifting array of stakeholders
- have experience in creating financial models in Power BI, Power Query, or similar
- have experience with SAP Datasphere, and SAP Analytics clouds is an advantage but not a prerequisite.
