Join us in this role where you’ll drive all commercial engagements for renewable hydrogen projects, incl. any offtake agreements and midstream or feedstock contracts. Your tasks will also include working directly with project teams to ensure delivery of commercial work packages in line with overall project timeline and project model as well as driving internal projects to ensure our P2X has the best commercial offering e.g., new revenue streams, the impact of regulatory changes, or new markets. You’ll be building and maturing a strong network with P2X customers and partners by engaging directly with senior and influential external players in the P2X landscape.

You’ll be part of the Commercial team where you, together with your colleagues, will work on critical commercial workstreams that will enable sustainable and economical green hydrogen derivative projects in the Americas region. You’ll play an important role in:

  • structuring and negotiating agreements with buyers and feedstock providers
  • optimizing individual projects business case to align our product with market demand
  • engaging with multiple customers, being our representation in meetings and seminars
  • maturing processes and standards of commercial excellence within Ørsted P2X.

To succeed in the role, you:

  • Have at least seven years of experience negotiating terms and conditions of different types of agreements with third-parties
  • are creative in finding commercial solutions to complex problems
  • are able to nurture relationships and represent us at meetings, conferences, and seminars
  • are comfortable to work in a truly global organization with other team members
  • can lead commercial workstreams on specific projects and identify internal resources to deliver on those, as needed
  • have excellent communication skills and the ability to influence internal or external stakeholders.
